Betty Blodgett has set up a collection site in the lower hall for new or gently used clothing for her Lakota friends on the Pine Ridge Reservation in North Dakota. She reminds us that it is very cold there in the winter, and many can’t afford to heat their homes, so warm and cozy clothes are much appreciated.
Betty is still collecting “Box Tops for Education” to aid schools on the reservation. There is an informational poster about this program on the bulletin board on the lower level of the hall. For information about which products have these box tops, visit the official site:boxtops4education.com
