Holy Week Let us Praise Together
Apr 11

This year of Sunday School was a journey of faith on so many levels.  When we began in September, we were unsure of how many children would actually participate, and we needed to find a new curriculum, as well as new teachers.  God provided everything we needed!  Though the number of children present on any given Sunday ran from one to six, the fact that we had class every Sunday was an incredible step forward.

We used a new curriculum, Workshop Rotations, which seemed both effective and efficient for our small number of children.  Six parishioners stepped forward to take on the role of teachers. They include Dolores Kosciusko, Denise Carrier, Holly Fellows, Dawn Christy, Tiffany Poplawski and Jane Bromberg.  They did an incredible job, and demonstrated great flexibility with both the curriculum, and the number of students participating each week.  There is no way to adequately thank them for the work they have done.  The Christian formation of our children is a top priority for us-whether there are two or two hundred-and we are grateful to God for inspiring our teachers to be willing to share themselves and their time with our children.
